The battle of the Operating Systems
It has been a while since I witnessed such fierce battle over desktop OS. Which of the new OS will reign supreme? There is the Windows 7 - a new promise by Microsoft to deliver on the short comings by its predecessors and there is Linux. The main question is do we really care what OS we run? Well since I never had to use Linux I have been well accustomed to Windows products. At this point technology has advanced so much that when it comes to an OS its not that important to me as long as it serves my purposes. All computers I use on a regular basis run Windows XP. I have not upgraded to Vista because I have no need. I feel the industry tend to create all these nifty options then make consumers believe there is a need for them.
